About Iqra School

WHY IQRA?
We embrace creativity. Natural curiosity and interests are fully explored in the context of different mediums like reading, writing, experimentation, observation, and analysis. Our interdisciplinary and student-centered approach enables students to become better autonomous learners.
We encourage play and experimentation because mistakes are important part of learning process. We understand that students independence, confidence, and learning dispositions are crucial for success.
We provide students with a well-rounded education and build their Islamic foundation to prepare them for success in school and the life beyond.




Mission/Vision
Iqra School is a PreK-4 private Islamic School that is committed to helping students realize their utmost potential. Iqra School will set a benchmark for excellence through comprehensive, core knowledge curriculum. Iqra’s students are expected to exceed the state of Minnesota’s academic standards.
Islamic Education is applied in every class and activity throughout the day to instill the value of virtues and strong moral values in the hearts of students.
